Technology that strengthens communities, empowers local organisations, and improves lives.
Nascenta is a UK-based technology company dedicated to solving societal challenges through thoughtful, human-centred digital systems. We work with local authorities, voluntary organisations, and community groups to build tools that make support easier to access, easier to deliver, and easier to trust.
Our mission is simple: use technology to make communities stronger, safer, and more connected.
Nascenta is the creator of Via, a digital platform that powers community transport schemes, Good Neighbours groups, and volunteer-led support networks across the UK.
Via supports hundreds of thousands of patient transport journeys every year, helping residents reach medical appointments, social activities, essential services, and wellbeing support. It is relied upon by community groups, charities, and local schemes throughout the UK who need dependable, intuitive tools to coordinate volunteers and deliver safe, timely assistance.
Via provides coordinators with simple tools for managing referrals, volunteers, journeys, wellbeing checks, and local support — all designed around the realities of community work. It strengthens the human relationships at the heart of local support while ensuring clarity, consistency, and accountability.
Via is distributed in partnership with CommunitySparx CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering local volunteer ecosystems and expanding access to community-led services.

In 2018, Nascenta participated in an SBIR innovation grant in County Clare, Ireland, tackling rural isolation and transport barriers for vulnerable residents. Our work explored how digital triage, community coordination, and local volunteer networks could reduce loneliness, improve access to essential services, and strengthen rural resilience.
This experience shaped our understanding of how technology can support complex, multi-agency systems — especially where human connection matters most.
We believe technology should amplify human care, not replace it. Our systems are designed to be intuitive, accessible, and supportive of the people delivering frontline help.
Every product we build is shaped around real community needs — from fuel poverty and transport barriers to social isolation and wellbeing.
We use AI and automation carefully and ethically, ensuring they enhance safety, consistency, and access without compromising human judgement.
We work closely with councils, VCSE organisations, and community groups to ensure our tools fit local ecosystems, not the other way around.
We are committed to building technology that:
Nascenta exists to help communities thrive — through tools that are simple, trusted, and built for real life.
